Natches Way Residence - Steamboat Springs, Colorado

This house has expansive views of the ski mountain. Those views were the driving force for the design of the house. The owners were moving from Austin, Texas and wanted a more traditional style house than is the norm in Steamboat- But not so much that it would not fit in. We spent countless hours getting the look just right for them.

A central entry hallway leads directly to a sitting room with 270 degree views of the ski mountain and surrounding area. The kitchen is adjacent and shares those same views as does a formal living room, lower level family room and, on the top floor, the master bedroom suite. As the garage is prominent in the look of the house, much attention was given to it's design. A white limestone, found in the Austin area, was used for all of the stonework.
